Wow, it has been a v. long time since I’ve written – but now that summer is finally creeping in, i’m back in the flow of things. My China fatique has worn off a little. A lot has happened in the past few months in China, starting with Tibet, then moving on to the Sichuan Earthquake. All reminders that as fast as China is growing, it is dealing with many problems of its own. The biggest one, in my opinion, will be inflation.
But I’ve decided not to chime in on these current events. For the next month or so, I’ll focus on understanding China’s Internet and media landscape. Talking about content vs. distribution, and how that compares to what’s in the US. Should be interesting.
